We are delighted to inform you about the various facilities and services offered by the Schweizer Jugend- und Bildungszentrum (Swiss Youth and Education Centre).

The SJBZ is situated in Einsiedeln, surrounded by spectacular scenery and with a magnificent view of the lake and the mountains. It is divided into a modern hotel, a building with group accommodation, and youth houses. It offers a wide range of facilities for seminars and courses, as well as an attractive restaurant serving varied cuisine.

The bright, sunny rooms in the recently renovated  Hotel Allegro are spacious and comfortable, and meet all the needs of the modern-day guest, whether staying on a private basis or attending a business event. All rooms are equipped with shower/WC, self-dial phone and free Internet access. Some offer a view of Einsiedeln Abbey or Lake Sihl. The entire hotel is suitable for wheelchairs.

The group house is directed at all those who are looking for simple, moderately priced accommodation. It is particularly popular among ski-jumping teams and pilgrims walking along St. Jacob’s Way.

The youth houses offer dormitory accommodation, a kitchen, a dining room and a club room, and are the perfect choice for school classes, sports groups and training-camp participants. These buildings, too, are suitable for wheelchairs.

All the seminar rooms, as well as the rooms in the Hotel Allegro, have free Internet access.

P.S. You can choose between bed & breakfast, half-board or full board. We do not provide à la carte meals; guests can choose between a meat or a vegetarian menu. For groups or special events, we would be pleased to serve special menus in line with your individual wishes.
